Bay Clay Oyster Reef
Location: San Francisco Bay, San Rafael Shoreline
An alternative approach to building surge protections using oyster reefs in the San Francisco Bay Estuary. A remedial installation that derives its design from the criteria developed by scientific and conservation working groups. This award- winning innovative approach to the restoration of tidal marshes was developed to counter impending sea-level rise.

Thicket
A live-staked, bank-stabilization sculpture using local, native willows and elder-berry branches to restore native riparian habitat while mitigating stream bank erosion.

Nevada Rivers Project
Location: Truckee and Carson Rivers in Northern Nevada
Stream and habitat restoration installations on the Truckee and Carson Rivers created with a fluvial geomorphic trajectory to recharge ground water and direct floodwaters for enhancement of native habitats. Volunteers from local businesses and neighborhoods donated over 1,800 hours to build five restoration sculptures.
